Call me a late bloomer in the world wide web - but hey!, is it ever too late??

I’m not really new to the Internet - as I did try it out way back in the 1990s. I did try to make a website, design it as best as I can (used Frontpage) and enjoyed tinkering on servers and stuff.

My Online Ventures - And Failures

My first venture was put to a stop - well, I didn’t find it to be making sense when I was producing a mediocre job (web design & stuff) and not making money at all from my website. This was the start and the end of buzzminds.net - this was my website then.

My second venture - or should I say failure (to better describe it) - was when I actually invested more than I could afford. Well not really much, but in terms of my cash flow then - I was really in the losing end. I tried free to sell ebooks - without anybody buying from my site - clickmind.com. Then I tried some affiliate sites - and still to no avail. I finally gave up in a couple of months and called it quits in trying out an online business.

Lessons Learned by an Internet Loser?

The lesson I got then was that I needed traffic so that visitors will be able to see my site - and eventually (and hopefully) perhaps buy some of what I sold then - or join as affiliates under me. But wait a minute, come to think of it, I did try to buy a service then to increase my search engine rankings. The service provider asked for around 4 to 6 months to see results, yet all I was receiving then was reports of my website submitted to many search engines. While the traffic that I longed for never came. So that’s about it with my online venture - and yes, failure in my online stint.

The Web Tyro’s Goal

And now, armed with another blind courage (well, I think I’m much smarter now than I was before though) and with some amount of money in my hands - I’m trying it out again and try another shot for an online success. What I lack in resources and track record, I will make up for the passion and resolve I have now.
